Viðareiði is a village at the northern end of the island of Viðoy, one of the two northernmost villages in the Faroes archipelago (the other is Trøllanes). The mountain is Villingadalsfjall – I didn’t get to the top. With that cloud playing around the top, and a vertical drop of a few hundred metres to the sea the other side, and evening coming on, would you have tried? Faroes, 1983 |
