Yamuna River

Shortly before arriving at Delhi, India. This was my first visit to India, in September 1983. I was travelling alone. I’d set off from Heathrow, changed planes at Damascus, and stopped briefly at Sharjah (but remained on the plane).

This was the third trip I’d done by air – I’d flown Heathrow-Warsaw-Heathrow in November-December 1978, and Keflavik-Narssarssuaq-Keflavik in June-July 1982. No photos from the Warsaw flights!
