South Greenland II

Looking south west from the hills above Qagssiarssuq.

The long walks and the climbs to reach views like this make them feel even better, somehow. It’s exhilarating to come over the brow of a hill after a long climb, and be confronted with a sight like this.

You can see well over 100 km in this photo.

I didn’t realize until I sat down with the map that evening just how far away some of what I’d been able to see was.
