Disruptive Pupil
I used to be a bit of a disruptive pupil – mostly out of boredom – and the Geography teacher decided to make me sit at a desk in the corridor outside his class, to “study” there. Every geography lesson, for two whole terms. I pointedly studied Maths at that desk. But determinedly studied Geography at home – and came top in Geography that year, the first time I’d achieved anything much in it. Top marks to Mr McBride for educational psychology!
